Start with form

ALBELO brings these contrasts together through a simple combination: an opal globe and a flat, geometric base.
How they work within the interior is up to you.
The globe can become a subtle visual accent. The base can connect with the geometry of the architecture. Together, they create a form that works both when the light is on and when it is off.
Because in a considered interior, lighting does not always have to disappear into the background.

Use light to reveal the space

Louis Kahn, one of the architects who explored the relationship between light, material and space with particular sensitivity, once said: “Light is the giver of all presences.”
His architecture showed that light does more than make a space visible. It changes how we experience materials, proportions and surfaces. And wherever light appears, shadow becomes part of the composition too. At the Yale Center for British Art, natural, diffused light works together with concrete, wood, travertine and other materials. It does not compete with the architecture. It reveals it. That idea is close to the way we think about lighting at Lumiocco. The project comes first. Light is there to help you bring out what matters within it.

Every interior asks for something different.
Sometimes you need a single, quiet point of light. Sometimes the composition calls for repetition, balance or rhythm.
That is why ALBELO is available with one or two light points.
A single globe can introduce a subtle accent. Two can help establish rhythm within the space. Different variants can also work together in one project, giving you more freedom to build relationships between light, form and architecture.
The choice of finish adds another layer to the composition.
White, black, beige, gold or gunmetal can allow the luminaire to blend into the project, connect with surrounding materials or deliberately create contrast.
